Why BMA ?

WHY BUDDHA MARTIAL ARTS?

So many martial arts schools and so little time! How does one choose the right one? Martial arts schools are everywhere! Now day’s chances are you have at least one school within a 5-mile radius of your home --and probably more.

The first thing to know about choosing a martial arts school is that you already know how to do it!!
You evaluate a martial arts school the same way you would evaluate any school you would go to or take your child to. Just because you're thinking of joining a school that teaches the "ancient arts of self defense," doesn't mean you don't apply modern day scrutiny to their professionalism, teachers, and facilities.

Being a black belt, at any level, is not a sign that the wearer is a good teacher or that he or she knows how to run a business. "Just because someone is a good athlete, doesn't mean they are going to give you your money's worth when it comes to lessons, Seekers should use their good judgment when choosing a school, as just like in the martial arts, there aren't really any secrets, it's all about mastering the fundamentals. If you're looking for a good school, look for one that's proficient at the fundamentals of customer service. And BMA will sure be one of your best choices.

At BMA, we study and practice the martial arts with the intention of improving our own lives and not just physically, but in everything we do, and with everything (and everyone) we love and care for. We see this goal as a very authentic and relevant approach to personal "self-defense."
We start studying and practicing in our studio, but it doesn't end there, as our quest is to take our training "out of the studio and into the world." To see how our instructor and our students are doing just that,.

At BMA our curriculum goes beyond physical techniques, , project-based leadership training, community service, and familiarity with methods of peaceful conflict resolution. As students progress they're certainly challenged physically, but the martial arts, like life, is so much more than just technique. If you're looking for something wonderfully creative, exciting, steeped in tradition, but relevant to the here and now, please come visit us! We are humbly and gratefully accepting new students!

At BMA, we not only teach the form (kata -imagination fighting) of the particular art, but we also explain the meaning of it, when to use it, and how to use it, in short we train them the right method of using the technique.

Our specialty is we teach or train our students to save themselves by converting any common thing around them as a weapon according to their present situation to save themselves from danger, we train our students to be sharp and alert even in their sub-conscious mind, we teach our students ethics and moral values, we help them to build self discipline, self confidence and will power.
We are specialized in advanced weapon-oriented training, the weapons used in ancient and modern times. Some of the weapons we train are, Katana (The Samurai Sword), Tanto (Half Sword), Kama (The Sickle Weapon), Sai (The Trident Weapon ),Nunchaku (The Rice flail Weapon It's Used By Bruce Lee.), Tonfa ( Wooden side arm), Shuriken (Throwing Spikes Or Star), Butterfly knives (Half twins sword.), Bo (staff),Chinese broad sword and straight sword.

BMA incorporates a combination of techniques and principles from a variety of Martial Arts styles, including Hapkido, Kickboxing, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Tae Kwon Do, Kali, Kobudo, Wing Chun and weapons, all of which provides our students with a well-balanced, "streetsmart" self-defense system. Most other styles of martial arts tend to focus on just individual areas of self-defense. Combining the best of many styles into a blended system, gives BMA students the advantage they need to protect themselves in virtually any situation.
